Everything you want in a toasty, chewy, drop cookie and some things you don’t expect. Minimally refined ingredients; the cookie serves the craving without sacrificing nutrition.
All of my baked goods are made with fresh milled grains, wheat, berries, oats, and flaxseed.
The gluten free items I offer are made with brown rice flour, certified gluten free oats and flaxseed.
The remaining ingredients in our items are as minimally refined as commercially available. Cold and expeller pressed oils, brown eggs, sugarcane crystals, chocolate, nuts, pure vanilla and other natural flavors.
The freshly milled grains and seeds offer fresh protein, minerals, vitamins and fiber. The flax seed together with the wheat and oats are a complete protein. The expeller and cold pressed oils offer healthy omega-3 fats, along with having higher good fatty acids – polyunsaturated and monounsaturated content – than saturated fats.
There is so much rich, toasty, nutty satisfying flavor in our minimally refined baked goods that you forget the optimal nutrition present in wholemade baked goods. This is the reason I stay as close to nature as possible.
